marie biscuit desert
1 pkt marie biscuits
enough milk, custard powder, sugar to make custard to fill your dish
your favourite jam
. preheat oven to somewhere round 180'C
. make up some custard in the normal way. You want it to be fairly
runny custard, so make it as for pouring custard and maybe add a touch
more milk to the quantity.
. spread jam over the marie biscuits - it can be any jam, I like fig,
strawberry or rasberry.
. layer the jam'ed marie biscuits in a buttered ovenproof dish, making
sure that you leave lots of space in between biscuits for custard
. pour the custard over the marie biscuits, gently banging the dish to
make sure that the custard fills all the gaps
. bake in oven for about 15 mins, or until custard has set reasonably
firmly.
